Tariff Table for 2008

Each of the cottages is centrally heated by electric storage heaters and electric fires, immersion heaters provide hot water. The electricity and water is all inclusive in the holiday price quoted.

Bedding is provided. Cot, high chair and child gate are available on request, free of charge.

The cottages are centrally located to St.Ives harbour and can be found by reference to the map, the nearest car park is also indicated. You will have to pay for car parking in the town during your stay.  Weekly tickets are available at the car park areas. The parking charges tend to be higher in the summer. The car parks are shown on the town map.

There is a telephone which has incoming calls only in Sunnyside and Betty's Cottages, although you can dial 999, 151 and 150 for emergencies and enquiries.

It would be appreciated if every respect could be given to the neighbouring properties in particular regarding the noise levels from radios, cassettes, television, etc. The neighbouring properties are in the main occupied by local residents.

We do not lay down strict conditions, we simply ask that you consider the cottage as you would your own home. Regretfully no pets are allowed.

We have a non-smoking policy.

Fire Equipment

In the unfortunate event of a fire, a fire extinguisher/blanket can be found in the hall/kitchen respectively. Escape is through the front entrances.

Emergencies

In an emergency i.e. burst pipe or equipment fault (cooker, fridge, television etc.) the following number should be contacted: 01858 535 384 or 07729 633 869.

Insurance

Customers are advised that insurance for personal accident and injuries, the loss, damage of theft or their goods and personal possessions is totally their responsibility.

Confirmation of Booking

When the booking period requested is confirmed as available by us, confirmation of the booking will require the deposit by return post of £50 for which a receipt will be forwarded.

Four weeks prior to accommodation the cottages customers will be required to pay the full booking amount without deduction of the £50 deposit. Please make out the cheque to Mrs A Langridge.

The £50 deposit will be retained until the key is returned after the customer's holiday period.

Any cost for repair or replacement of damaged or missing furniture, fixtures, fittings, ornaments etc., will be deducted from the deposit, the balance only being returned.

Keys will be posted (or can be collected if convenient) to the customer when full booking payment is made.

Cancellations

Will be accepted up to four weeks prior to occupation. Cancellations occurring within four weeks of occupation will unfortunately result in loss of deposit (exceptional cases considered on merit).

Booking

Applications for bookings should be forwarded to the address on the contacts page as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Should the booking period applied for have been taken up since the notification of the vacancy dates customers will be notified at the earliest point possible. Your telephone numbers will assist in this.

Bookings will only be taken for full week(s) commencing Saturdays (exceptions considered out of season).

Occupation will be arranged for 2:00pm (approx) on Saturdays, vacation to be effected by 10:00am on the Saturday of departure.
